I found this cool site today and just had to share it: Musees a decouvrir / Museums to Discover lists the museums, interpretive sites, etc., in Quebec and has maps to print out for all sorts of thematic tours. It has interesting sounds when you check out the themes; gardeners, see the Living Collections.

well, i'm a little too embarrassed by them to post the sites of museums that i've worked for, although the rbcm did [finally] redo theirs.

The Canadian Heritage Information Network's Virtual Museum of Canada is probably the best site in the country both for general museum info and for online exhibits, one of which yours truly had a small hand in . . .

Speaking of the Field Museum, has anybody come across Stolen Spirits of Haida Gwaii a documentary about the field's repatriation of 150 Haida burials? Intense stuff, beautifully done.

Virtual Library Museums, a major website listing online museums in many countries and various languages. A related site is Museophile which maintains the Virtual Library Museums and links to discussions; also into computer stuff.

Also article on various US history museums.
