I just had to share this, it's hilariously awful:

"You touch my tra-la-la!" (not quite work-safe - naked butt for a few moments)

Ha! Hilarious indeed.

Speaking of bad hair music videos, Alanis Morissette's new video for 8 Easy Steps features a montage of her famous videos from the past, including her 80s Canadian videos. They manipulate her lips to be mouthing the words to her new song. Hilarious, and delightful for the Alanis fan.

I sent this to people on their work emails and got raked over the coals for sending soft porn.

Whoops. My advice to babblers is to put an advisory on this sorry piece of culture.

I think, with Gunther and the Sunshine Grils, we're in the realm of parody.

(I hope so, leastways).

The guy we see in the "Ding Dong Song" video is apparently the same guy responsible for this.

Yeah, it seems like parody to me as well. Kinda like a weird 80's music video meets 80's porn. His mustache made me laugh.

Oh my GOD.

I had a cross between hysterical laughter and embarassment cringes through the whole thing. That was hilarious!

But yes, I'm glad I saw it now, at home, in the middle of the night, rather than clicking on it at work. Be a sport, Doug, and label it not work safe!

Well for more cross-border fun you could say it's a Kentucky waterfall that wouldn't look out of place on someone from Florence or Ashland.

For what its worth Tennessee has always seemed to me much less rube-ish then Kentucky, with an exception being Derby day and after 10 mint juleps.

Edit: To actually stay on topic the I have no idea what the worst video ever is. There are simply too many pieces of dreck to consider. The best? "Bastards of Young" of course.

I dunno; I don't understand Swedish, and I don't know much about art, but I know what I like. I thought it was good.

I think 'Gunther' is a woman in drag. I wonder what is in the chute v/v the 'TBC' at the end?

I also liked the surtitles that scrolled 'tra la la', 'ding ding dong', etc.

I like trashy euro-pop - I'm off to Kazaa to download it, lol.

It's true, al-Q, the song is very catchy. But I think the "hilariously awful" part was a description of the bad 80's porn video.

It's like the Milkshake song that Audra posted on another thread. Hilariously awful video (which is nonetheless very entertaining) but a very catchy song.

Have you been working on that since September, Gir? I like it, but something gets lost in the translation.

I got bored so I tracked down a web source for Gunther's other video creation.

It's every bit as horrifying and hysterical as the last one.
