It's pretty hard for a rocker to be a badass these days.

There's aren't that many lines one may cross in order to make a splash through sheer badassery alone.

But as far as current characters in the badass category, I suppose I choose Gen from Genitorturers.

This is the original man in black. Bullshot was his last American album, in 1979, for about 20 years. "Switchblade" was probably the most bad ass tune ever written. Totally sinister. Cover your grandma's ears and call the cops. Woo!

Not for being a good person, or really liking their music...But the most fascinating from a strictly shocking point of view is GG Allin. He committed terrible crimes, and played his "music". A basic review of his life can almost certainly explain why he was, without a measure of a doubt, the way he was.

My FAVOURITE though is Danzig. If only because the song Mother rules.
