Don't know if anyone else in babble land is watching the current series of Doctor Who (since CBC is no longer carrying it we can only watch it via YouTube, torrents and other subversive methods.

I've just finished watching the two-parter Silence in the Library/Forests of the Dead.

Wow!

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know that there was 4th season. Stupid CBC for not carrying it.

I will have to fire up the sonic screwdriver and scour usenet for some downloads.

Ask and ye, etc...

Doctor Who at Mininova

Just don't post any spoilers for those catching up.

But are we sure CBC isn't carrying the 4th series? Could it be they're just airing it well after its UK run is done, the same way they did last season? After all Torchwood II has already had its run in the UK(I know, I've seen it), and not yet a sniff on CBC.

I hope CBC is still going to carry it. I always thought that it came on after the season was finished in the UK. It's the only time we bring out our TV. Well if not, we'll just have to buy it when it is released on DVD.

As a child I use to fall asleep listening to my parents watch Dr. Who, I remember the few episodes I got to watch scared me silly.

Once we emigrated to Canada we were able to catch it on TVO here and there.

So when CBC started airing it, I told my kids I didn't care what they wanted to watch in that time slot, it belonged to me.

Well I got my daughter totally hooked on it - third generation!

I may write CBC to see what's up

If I recall correctly it was season 3 that started on CBC more than a year after the previous series ended(on CBC). All we had in between to console us was the first Christmas special - "The Runaway Bride", featuring this season's(#4) "companion" Donna Noble, played by Catherine Tate.

BTW, E11-S04 runs tonight on BBC. It will likely be available for download shortly afterward.

Don't know what season you want but I'd try Amazon. [You should be able to find the original series here as well.]

I don't think so, this seasons's episodes don't credit the CBC as co-producer in the credits.

The new season of Torchwood will be aired by Space. I don't know about Doctor Who - I know "bold", the CBC's digital channel will be repeating the first three seasons but don't know about the fourth.

If that's the case, then it's better than good to have a computer.
