Because with all of the talk about the Maple Leafs, this forum has started to become rather depressing.

They'll choke in the first round. Clouthier will be back just in time to fuck up the chemistry.

But I'd still like to see them go all they way.

The potential is so great, but the product on the ice has been so miserable. They will need to have a good run in the playoffs or I would rather that they just missed them altogether.

The only way Cloutier will play is if Auld if a catastrophe strikes Auld and the backup fails. By then it will be too late anywise.

i've always been a canuks fan, so have suffered my share of the disappointment. I think the disappointment will continue this season. the playoffs are going to require consistency an discipline: calgary comes out of the northwest.

They still have the ugliest name in hockey.

And not in a good way.

Ya, I doubt they would just start Cloutier cold, he'd probably see backup duty. Also, it suck for the Nucks that they're once awe inspiring line of Naslund, Bertuzzi, and morrison is no longer anywhere near the best in the league.

Non-believer, I cast the OUT!

...Actually I tend to be pessmeistic as well, this has been an aweful season considering the theoretical talent on the team. And I tend to think that they won't be able to upset Dallas, maybe the Kipper experience featuring Iginla, maybe Colorado, maybe Detroit but all in all their chances aren't that great. Maybe the loss of Jovo for most of the season has had a big effect on the so-called "big line". He can be a defensive sieve by making horrible defensive plays, otoh, he kick starts the attack quite well, and people like Nolan Baumgartner have tried to step up, but they just can't fill in nearly as well.

I think that the Canucks should go back to those yellow V type jerseys. If you are gonna suck, you should at least dress the part.

Mentioning former Canucks uniforms negativley, even if they were poor choices, that cannot be mentioned. It's a sin, that's low...they're a part of the tradition!

Well I suppose this means war

...Maybe the 'Kipper experience featuring Iggy' could incorporate the hard hat into their uniform! Insteading of wearing helmets they could just wear "hard hats", after all they're allready ruining the game with their goal free, entertainment free style (goals tonight being an exception), why not contribute that ridiculous "tradition" to the league?

I went there, I mentioned the hard hat without praising it, and I'd go back again. Maybe I'll even mention the "red mile" negativley if this heats up more.

Canucks and tradition? Those two don't go together. Well I guess maybe they have a tradition of losing. That and completely changing the style/colours/logo of their jerseys every 5 years. Classy. Anything to make a quick buck I guess.

Also what's the deal with 30! pay-per-view games this year? Talk about bending their fan base over the barrel.

Then you have the ultimate sportsmen like Bertuzzi, Ruutu, and Cooke on the team. Why oh why aren't the Canucks universally loved?

I love Ruutu and Cooke they always draw in players from other teams and get them to take stupid penalties. I appreciate the talent that comes with pissing other people off, it can kind be fun to troll. And unlike agitators like Avery, whose an alleged racist, or Tucker and Domi who are ridiculously over paid (not to mention other things), they're 'affordable' and good defensivley.

In any case there isn't 30 games on PPV, that would be bizzare, there are eighteen. Here's the Canucks PPV schedule, since it seems like your a big fan and would want to go to their site and take a look around I've provided a link ppv schedule
