Kewl...

I suggest for anyone interested in political type music along the lines of 'Impeach the President', might enjoy some of the righteous offerings over at:

Justice Through Music
Shock and Awful

Both sites got lots of free anti-war, anti-Bush...
I recommend Legendary KO's "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People" and the very funny "Cheney's Got A Gun" and of course 'Mosh' at the Justice Through Music site.
They are also featuring an interview with Neil Young...

...and I have to shamelessly plug the new Springsteen album...it's actually very good and people who like folk will love it...great arrangements and some new looks at old old standards.

Rather than start a new thread and thus contribute to proliferation, can this be the location for a new anti-war song thread?

ETA:

Last night I was listening to an old compilation album and heard this:

Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream
words and music by Ed McCurdy

Last night I had the strangest dream
I'd ever dreamed before
I dreamed the world had all agreed
To put an end to war

I dreamed I saw a mighty room
Filled with women and men
And the paper they were signing said
They'd never fight again

And when the paper was all signed
And a million copies made
They all joined hands and bowed their heads
And grateful pray'rs were prayed

And the people in the streets below
Were dancing 'round and 'round
While swords and guns and uniforms
Were scattered on the ground

Last night I had the strangest dream
I'd never dreamed before
I dreamed the world had all agreed
To put an end to war.
