Hey!

i'm new to Toronto, just moved with my friend from New York. So this is my first ever message board!

Has anyone heard about a production of Jesus Hopped the A Train in Toronto?

I'd love to know if it's cast yet. It's an AMAZING play!

Thanks for your help!

Welcome, actdress.

I don't know the answer, but a good place to look is canadianactor.com

I think the message boards are only accessible if you join (and hence pay) now, but if you're going into acting professionally , you will probably want to check them out.

Also, for free if I remember correctly, they have listed on the site many theatres around Canada and Toronto so if you know the company, you can most likely find contact information and/or a website for the people putting it on.

Just some ideas!

Welcome, indeed. A quick Google search turned up this. Sure, it's an ad for an Apprentice Stage Manager, but it seems that a production is indeed forthcoming.

The Berkeley Street Theatre Upstairs

There is contact info on that page, which might be relevant for actors (and actdresses as well).

thanks so much! I'm checking it out now.

If any of you know some good forums for WORKING waitresses (meaning unemployed actors!) I'd love to know.

Thanks a bunch.

As well as the canadianactor forums, Theatre Ontario has all of its audition notices posted in their office, which is somewhere in Toronto. It doesn't post them online, which has been a pet peeve for a while.

You should be able to google them and find their address fairly easily.
