Interesting juxtaposition of quotes. I'd never thought of it in those terms, but the comparison *does* tend to leap out at one, once it's been pointed out...

While I completely agree with the emotion behind this statement, isn't the very idea itself: (hegemonic) control over one of the sites of (mental) social reproduction something our side wants too?
