Does this include not watching movies too, or just TV?

But turning off my TV would require me to turn it on in the first place...

Possible slogans:

"If TV's been turning you off, why not return the favour?"
"Spend a week with actual Friends."
"The only reality show is the one you're in right now."

The Friend friends ARE my friends, though !

Seriously, TV has been getting better and better as more channels get added. I don't mean on a percentage basis - that's as bad as ever - but on the basis of the best stuff that's out there.

I don't have cable and therefore do not get TV, its just an accesory for the VCR. Although during the playoffs it would be nice not to have to go out to either friends, the pub or listen to the game on the radio.

Sci-Fi is in the dumps, totally. There is almost nothing worth watching. So disappointing.

Yeah, Farscape ends soon, and then the wasteland will be even vaster.

I blame it on Tribune Entertainment and on the reality show/unscripted TV thing. So sad.

I keep turning off the TV, and someone keeps turning it back on. I've done my bit, I say.

Latest discovery:

Clone High on the cartoon channel.

Famous figures throughout history are cloned, and are in high school together.

JFK hangs with Ghandi, etc.

A blast.
