I just finished watching the Guns of Navarone on TVO. What a treat. Very exciting and so nice not to have commercials.

The Guns of Navarone is based to a degree on historical fact. There were no great guns and the Britsh troops were trapped on the Aegean island of Leros. They did not get away. But the movie was great.

I was watching this instead of the game, although I flipped back and forth. Peck and Quinn were quite good, as was David Niven. TVO also had The Great Raid last week.
