I really should follow up on my French. But between German, Cantonese and Latin/Greek...I just don't have much time

The show's in English, with a lot of smiling by Mitsou Gélinas (of Bye Bye Mon Cowboy fame). I can't decide if the constant references to how Quebec and French Canada are "different" are informative (Quebec has the highest suicide rate in Canada) or self-congratulatory in the finest CBC style (the vedette system is the envy of English Canada) or both (fewer Quebecers will watch the Super Bowl than in the rest of Canada).

I wanted to watch the show but then I remembered how annoyingly cutsie-wutsie Mitsou is (I've seen her on the French networks a few times). That gregarious smile of hers wears on you after a few minutes. Besides, I live in Quebec, what do I need this show for?
