There are films that have what is termed hollywood violence(guy gets shot a couple of times falls down and dies, no blood, and entrails) and there are films that have graphic violence guy gets shot, he falls down screaming, there's blood everywhere and you definatly do see inners) my question is, how realistic is the violence in the films of someone like david cronenburg and it isn't, is there really a fictional film that shows us what bloodshed is actually like?

A friend once showed me a vhs tape around 1993 I think and said it was what the song "Hey man nice shot" by Filter was based on.

A man in a boardroom with people around the table and news cameramen present walked up to a podium with an envelope and pulled out a gun said something muffled by the other peoples screams, put the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

The cameraman caught it all and even zoomed in as the man shot himself and zoomed out as he fell. Very professional under the circumstances. I've never seen anything like it before or since in movies, news or anything else( I've never seen the hostage beheading but I've heard people tell me the sound was worse than the picture.)

If movies accurately portraited what happens to a person when they are shot in the face, people wouldn't believe it.
