Although Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 has been available on the Internet for weeks without charge from unauthorized websites, the film will make its first licensed appearance on the video-on-demand site CinemaNow tonight (Monday) at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It will also be made available to subscribers to the Dish Network satellite service. Either way, the price will be $9.95. Dish Network tonight also plans to offer the anti-John Kerry documentary, Stolen Honor: Wounds that Never Heal. -emphasis added

From the movie review at Anchoress' link:

quote:
"Fahrenheit 9/11" is an important film, dealing in detail with the great issues of current American society, with a degree of skepticism that our newsmedia has proven entirely incapable of exhibiting in the last decade. Lone gadfly Michael Moore cannot singlehandedly reverse the effects of a servile corporate media, but he can -- and does -- fling it right back in their faces.

I saw this film for the first time last weekend. I must say that most of it did not come as a surprise, because various Canadian television shows on the same topic had already enlightened me on the connections between the Bushes and the Saudis. However, seeing it in its entirety was an experience that left me dumfounded; shaking my head in disbelief that our world has come to such a place of terrifying lunacy. A must-see.

I just went back to the movie site and realized how many user comments there are for this one film!! This thing sure has Americans and others talking!! What is sad for me to see is the number of comments denouncing 9/11 as propoganda and lies.

I continue to slink towards Tuesday, like a prisoner slinking towards the gallows. (wait a minute, I'm not American, I'm Canadian! Yippee!!)
