Is anyone else following this contest? Every time I go to Kingston (which is every other weekend), I see signs up all over the place saying, "Kingston is Hockeyville!" And I've been seeing it advertised on HNIC too.

At first I thought it was a neat CBC contest, because I think the prize is that they'll host an NHL game in whatever arena you have in your town, no matter how small it might be. I thought it would be kind of neat if some teensy place (like, say, Wellington, Ontario) were to win.

But it bothers me that it's mostly a Kraft publicity thing. Anyhow, here are the communities.

One community up west here, O'Leary, is pouring their hearts into this. This is something I don't really care about, but I hope that they win.

Just looking at the website, I don't understand it. There's judges picks and audience picks... Are the audience picks the only ones that get through for the final selection?
