Something's been bugging me for three days now and I can't come up with an answer to it. I remember an ols movie where a plane crashes in the mountainous jungles of the mountains of Tibet. The people on the plane are rescued by "Sherpas" and taken across steep mountain passes into a large valley where everyone stays young forever.

Does anyone know the name of this movie? It's really bugging me.

I hope that answers your question! I'm going to go ahead and move it to the culture forum.

There was a remake of Lost Horizon in 1973 starring Peter Finch and Micheal York among others. They weren't Sherpas, they were a particularly esoteric bunch of monks. I liked the first version better. That Sam Jaffe can do anything!
