Winter is coming, and finally the summer blockbuster garbage has begun to fade out...

What are you looking forward to seeing this season?

For me:
- The Motorcycle Diaries
- Vera Drake
- The Take
- Bad Education
- Stage Beauty

and finally, A Dirty Shame..John Waters' new film, abhored by critics everywhere....

I have seen The Motorcycle Diaries, and it's quite good, and definitely worth watching. One of the better movies to come out this year.

I can't wait to see Vera Drake either, I loved the trailer, and most early reviews have been raved.

Others I really want to see:

- Kinsey
- A Very Long Engagement
- The Life Aquatic
- Hotel Rwanda
- Tarnation

almost forgot...i'm also reaaaaaaaaallly looking forward to "art school confidential" the new Terry Zwigoff film based on the eightball serial by Dan Clowes (the folks who brought you Ghost World). This one is going to star John Malkovitch + Angelica Houston, and is thus guaranteed to be weird + awesome.

I just saw a looong special teaser preview (about 4 minutes long) of Saw, and boy, it looks good! It seems different from your typical suspense/horror/??

Also saw the preview for The Grudge. It looked good, but the reviews (on IMDB of course) aren't that good. Anyone see it or hear anything about it?
