Great story.

Can there be a "Canada" forum?

"I think I've got everything I want. I have a wonderful wife who's helped me all these years and a wonderful family," he says. "I'm a very, very fortunate guy. Hockey's been great to me. People have been good to me. I really, really can't complain."

This is a Canadian forum. Except where indicated (like "rest of the world" or "middle east") or when mentioned in the post (like the ones about the US election), it is assumed to be about Canada.

I can't tell what the story is about since I'm not registered at the Star, but it looks like a story about a hockey legend, so that would certainly fall under Culture.

Actually, I don't think it's true that this forum is strictly for Canadian cultural topics. We talk about a lot of American pop culture here (music and movies, especially), eg.

Well yes we do, but this is a Canadian board, so there's no need to segregate Canadian topics.

And some of us talk about Romantic poets.

Only the "geographical" boards are specifically for Canadian topics. But perhaps the comment was a reaction to the rash of (presumably) USians who have been bombarding the board recently with new posts from a USian point of view.

Hockey is definitely part of culture - except, perhaps, when talking about the ongoing labour conflict which would go under labour and consumption.
