It's a ~55 meg download, last I looked. That's on par with a zip of the directory structure of Office 97.

At thi spoint and time, DrC, I am very disappointed. This was a waste of valuable bandwidth. I have only attempted the Win version as of yet, but I would not consider it Beta. Pre-alpha would be more appropriate.

It has crashed explorer on start-up. In each and every instance attempting to open an existing file or attempting to save-as a new file has crashed the application. On ene occasion, it has crashed the entire computer.
My system is runnig like a 386.

To be fair, I had already installed OpenOffice. I thought there might be a conflict, so I removed it and Star Office and then reinstalled. No improvement.

I hope the Linux version is more promising.

It is currently being purged from my system.

I use Wordperfect for Mac. It's a few years old. Corel doesn't make it anymore.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the scrolling speed is REALLY fast. When I want to scroll down the page I almost always go past the point I wanna get to.
