I love it too! It is Torontonian but with universal stories. It's very well-written, well-acted and -- as you said, fern -- very good characters.

Nice taste, fern! Last night's episode (#204) was particularly strong although the second season has been a bit hit and miss as they try to expand their character's worlds beyond the confines of the Old City Hall courts. As long as the writing stays tight and the directors reign-in the actors from over-playing, there's nothing to stop another Da Vinci's Inquest.

Yes! It's a wonderful medly of characters and stories; the best thing that ever came out of Toronto!

Although last night I was so wound up in an argument here that I forgot to go back a couple of times after the commercials had ended, so missed some bits. I think I will have to put my computer and TV in the same room.

I stopped watching Da Vinci quite a while ago when all the actors started talking the same, all mimicking Da Vinci, with that flat, yeah, ok, right tone.

I have yet to see This is Wonderland - no TV in my new place.

As for Da Vinci - what's with all the posters I see around downtown that have his face with "Da Vinci : Democratically Elected"? I don't get it.

Well, I think he plans to run for mayor on the TV show next season? I like DaVinci's Inquest; I think I didn't have a TV for the first season or two. I missed a few good TV shows through no having a TV for years, but then I missed a whole lot more crummy ones.

Pity. Good episode for the most part although there were a couple of bits that hit the floor without bouncing. But all in all, if it keeps improving as it has, it'll be a contendaaa!

Is it against the "rules" of a party thread to discuss the reason (RSR) why one is needed? Is it ok to include the reason's name so it/he/she can get further (if possible) pissed off at not being able to get into said party thread?

They also have posters that say something like 'Unbought, Unbent' or something. I work on Chris Haddock's floor, I should ask.

I get DI via tapes my dad makes for me, and I got stuck after the episode where the preview for next week showed Sue getting arrested for whatsisname's murders. I don't know if I'm going to be able to stand to watch it; I may have to wait until the storyline's played out and I'll watch them only if Sue's exonorated.

Sorry -- had to run out to the vestibule for some cigarettes.

I dunno, Bacchus -- it was just a little too organic for me, y'know? I need my chemicals after all, it seems.
