Anyone else been watching this? It's a bit long and at times seems a little too unstructured, but overall it's a pretty amazing piece of television. Very sad and affecting in places.

If I were still in academia, it seems like it would be a good film to use with a first year social sciences class in talking about structure and agency and how much control people have over the outcomes of their lives. Because it shows on the one hand the kinds of structural barriers in people's lives, but also shows people making poor choices and the consequences of those. Even beyond the idea of using it as a teaching tool in a classroom, it's making me think -- about class and privilege and economics and so on.
