I grew up in Ottawa in the 1950's/60's, and spent much of the 60's on the weekends at the old Le Hibou coffeehouse on Sussex Drive. Place looks like a Yuppie nightmare now. Some great performers there over the years, don't know where they all are nowadays - Murray McLaughlin, Tom Rush, James Cotton Blues Band, I think the Muddy Waters Blues Band was there as well, and Dion DiMucci after he went folkie, McKenna Mendelssohn Mainland, gosh, there were a lot of performers. Anyone here remember Le Hibou at all?

I miss Ottawa, still return for a week or so every other year - it's a more boring place now without Le Hibou
