What, no Harry Potter thread yet?

All I have to say is that I loved it and that I was very, very sad when the person who dies, died. (But I will not give it away!!!)

Oh, and it took me 5 hours to read - to which my darling sister commented "that seems like an awfully long time." Little witch.

I picked up a copy on Saturday, for my youngest. We arm wrestled to see who gets the first read, and she lost.

Seriously, I'm reading something on the Punic Wars right now anyway, so she can have it first.

I read my daughter the first five chapters Saturday, then stayed up and read till dawn and had it finished Sunday morning.

Well, I liked it then. Overall, a better book than GoF, but with a couple of chapters that were basicly meaningless and could easily have been left out altogether.

Do we have to mark "spoilers" on a board like this? I won't say more for now...

One thing though, think about it, the actually "Order of the Phoenix" wasn't in any way integral to the plot. Could have been left out entirely, and the rest of the book would have read the same.
