aarrrghh - i think im going blind. there's a demented film crew outside my loft shining heavy duty lights in my windows - and i'm at the top of the building! the sun has set in my corner of canada but its bright as day here.

i know we're supposed to grit our teeth and endure because filming brings revenue to the city - but this is a bit much.

ok, im sore (literally) because im trying to recover from tripping over the cables and other gear piled outside my door.

They shouldn't have stuff piled outside your door. See if you can find the locations manager and ask him to get the grips to move the stuff.

Further to what zoot said, if they're going to be there till the wee hours shining lights in your window etc etc they ought also to be offering you either compensation or an alternate place to stay.

If they're a professional crew of course.

Before some development, the alley beneath my apartment used to be a popular place to film the ubiquitous "car racing down alley knocking over cans and sending garbage flying" scene. We'd be treated to take after take of "Lights, camera, action, vroom vroom, screech, cut".

But one time, one wonderful time, a crew member gave us, and any other tenants facing the alley, a nice crisp $50 bill. We were students at the time, and that $50 felt like $300 would now. Never happened again though.
