So I get on the bus Monday 7.50am, the driver has got all the front of the bus decorated with tinsel and in the luggage rack there is a huge ghetto blaster blaring out christmas carols.

I was so pissed off I went and sat at the back of the bus, even tho' my bike was at the front. There seemed to be more people at the back for some reason

When I got to work I fired off a complaint to Translink and actually got a reply stating the driver had been identified and the music and decorations had been removed - sure enough there was no sign of any of it this morning. [I refuse to get on this drivers bus anyway]. Translink have a rule about overly loud personal stereos and being courteous of other transit users, shouldn't this apply to drivers also.

What do you think ?

Should drivers be allowed to do as they see fit on the bus they drive ?
