As a horror film fan, I went to the film 'Hostel' last night. In terms of ratings, I would give it a 1 out of 5 in terms of scariness. (Given that I equate scariness with horror films, I was disappointed with this effort.) In terms of gore (a typical bloodbath), it gets a full 5 out of 5. It certainly lives up to Tarantino putting his name on it as producer.

As for morals to the story? Don't go to hostels in Europe. And if you do, beware of expensive looking hostels. Don't go too far from home (or else you will be asking for trouble). Don't have wild sex with beautiful women (as they can't be trusted). Don't drink or swallow unknown substances. And don't be an American.

(As a side note, this film is going to ruin Slovakia's tourism industry.)

Is this film worth the ticket price? No.

Oh, I just thought of one more moral in the film. It is a bad thing to be gay. You will end up dead as a result.
