Having not been a listener/follower of audioslave, I know little or nothing about this group except that the USA is allowing them to play in Cuba.

Could someone tell me about them and what their movement axis of justice is about?

Audioslave is the formation of Soundgarden's Chris Cornell, with the Rage Against the Machine guys (minus the singer Zack). RATM have always been activists, in life as in music.

I saw them in Toronto last year on their Axis of Justice tour. Let's just say, they are not happy with America right now, so they are trying to bring education to the people through this tour. Tom Morello rocks! He's probably the most vocal of the group. Here's a link to an interview with them:

Se also System of a Down. Serj Tankian of System of a Down was ridiculed for his anti-war stance. It was a horrible thing to witness, as people attempted to paint him as un_American (easier to do if you don't have a 'normal' American last name). Anyways, Tom and Seg work together to educate people on the war. Here is the Axis of Justice website:

I think its amazing they are playing in Cuba. Of course they will suffer a huge backlash.

If you are interested in rock music, and activist rock music in particular, then I highly suggest catching Ministry next time they are around. Their latest album is completely against the Bush regeim.

I forgot to add - Chris Cornell is super hot.

Thanks a bunch, for the info, I am listening to one of their songs at the moment and it is really good and I am impressed with their comments, "Your Time Has Come".
