It should come as no surprise that this paragon of democracy and good taste crooned on cruise ships in his youth:

My Heart in My Throat also includes the lines:

"With my heart in my mouth/Because your love is everything to me/I know you may make me suffer/But I'll never let you go/ Even if I have to fight/I will love you until the end."

That's too eerily similar to John Ashcroft's own tendency to, uh, sing.

I heard Bill Murray singint Karioke(sp) today on CBC Radio. It was from the end of a soundtrack from his new movie. Very sad...not funny, he was really trying to sing.

I think everyone should sing, sing out loud, lots! - but I don't know if it is wise for everyone to record.

I think Bill Murray is a good singer!

Well, in the context of Lost In Translation, his character is not a very good singer, which doesn't necessarily reflect on his actual singing ability. The whole karaoke bit is actually a very sweet and funny scene.

Bill Murray was incredible in Lost in Translation, as was Scarlett Johansson. What an amazing movie!

Och, Berlusconi and Ashcroft in duet!

Gee, I'd pay to attend that -- if someone could promise me that we'd have 'em both in leg irons at the end of the concert.
