I'm sorry. But I just *had* to create a new thread about Kinnie Starr. She's a wicked-ass Vancouver-based trip-hop artist who has an amazing new album out.

Is anyone else addicted to Kinnie?

I only have her latest album 'sun again' -- but I'm pressuring my friend who works at HMV to get me the others -- but I'm addicted to the song 'Soar' right now. Really uplifting.

I think it may be worth while to try out a band called Metric. They are Canadian, living in LA making some waves. Its sorta the same popish techno beat stuff. And if you like them, you might aswell take the tiny step to the band Stars, who are fairly well known indy from Montreal. Both have female leads, and I think Metric is a partial spawn out of Stars... Its good music none the less.
