CBC News has a story about this "anti-piracy" label, and in it the writer states that "The joint effort is the latest attempt to curb piracy, which costs the software, film and music industries approximately $21 billion US annually." I am wondering if this means that if everyone bought every single song rather than downloading them, the industry would make 21 bil. $ more? Or is it that the industry makes 21 bil. $ less than it did the year before p2p networks got going? I don't understand.
