Good movie. I was really surprised at how well Neeson was able to play a sensitive neurotic. The ironic thing about the movie is that it shows that things have really come full circle when it comes to sexual politics in the US. In an era in AIDS is ravaging the world's population, George Bush is using exactly the same kind of sex ed programs Kinsey railed against 50 years ago.
Question: Did he really have an affair with his assistant?

Yes.

At least, that's what both of the two recent biographies of Kinsey say.

I recommend James Jones' biography for interested Babblers. Kinsey was one of the most important authors of present-day sexual mores, and so affected each of our lives.
