quote:The leader of the NDP in Newfoundland and Labrador is calling for an external review of the province's health system to learn why so many women were given the wrong results on their breast cancer tests.....More than 300 patients who had questionable hormone receptor tests between 1997 and 2005 have died.
The NL Eastern Health authority has been trying to keep damaging review reports from the public, although they lost that battle in court.

Hooray for this but too bad too many suffered before there was any action .....we have the same dangerous issues here in NS with mental health which is hidden from the public despite the 'work' done by the group I belong to....too many benefit from keeping secrets especially pills for profit..Here we have Dalhousie Medial School Professors using their staff positions in the Abbey Lane for drug testing without consent and or knowledge....both the hospital and university benefits at the detriment of the patients health and quality of life....ministers and CMHA National/Provincial Offices and the The College of Physicians /Surgeons all know but not the public!!!
Because it is would be globally shameful to be outed as the sham-as a peace keeping nation that 'slaughters' its own.. while getting $$$$$ for it.
Hopefully this new investigation will be contagious -excuse the medical pun!
