I was thinking about if we ever do get to a global socialism, what would the formula be? I personally wonder if we charged ALL corporattions say 50% of all profits to set up a global basic wage for everyone, plus basic social sevrices such as health & education, if it could work.
I know getting there would be extremely hard, but surely sombody should be presenting viable options on how it would work should we ever get there.
Any ideas? Anyone know of any scholarship on the subject?

First, get rid of all corporations, and abolish all the patents they hold. Then, cancel all debt. Next, set up semi-autonomous local governments, small enough to respond directly to their constuencies. Make the next priority birth-control and the one immediately after that, the cessation of manufacturing. Once we get the air and water cleaned up, we can start thinking about making stuff people need.
