The best example of diet and scientific fraud was the South Beach Diet, that guy came up with millions. All it was was the low carb diet that bodybuilders and people in the know have known about for decades. But he made the name sound glitzy and fashionable ("south beach" lol) and millions of people took it more seriously because of that, and so he made millions.
