This article would seem to suggest that their is way more planet here than we might have guessed.


Analysis Finds Nearly Half The Earth Is Still Wilderness

Sometimes they call America's wilderness "flyover land". I have noticed when I fly to the West coast that there's less and less of it.

50% sure isn't much.
