I am a 24 year old human rights/development/ fair trade activist from Vancouver. I am currently traveling through South East/South Asia and doing a bit of volunteer work before I return to the real world. My activism stems my involvement with Oxfam and hopeless addition to Democracy Now, Noam Chomsky and Naomi Klein.

In terms of partisan politics, I have drifted between the Greens and NDP... which likely stems from my not being entirely informed. I have shifted my alignment to the NDP because as far as I understand they seem to stand more steadfastly for the social safety net. I spoken to several conservative greens who stand for sound environmental stewardship, but a small government.

I hope to gain much insight from the more experienced activists and political nuts that keep these forums well stocked with information and reflections.
