A new crustacean that looks like a lobster covered in silky, blond fur has been discovered in the South Pacific.

Broadway worthy.

Edited to add link.

Gee, in the South Pacific you'd figure the water was warm enough the critters didn't need a fur coat.

Fur coat? ... those are leg warmers, a style statement!

Hmm, it's blind to what's around it, wears a fur coat, and snaps at anything that moves. Sounds like a few bitch divas I could name.

I've always wanted to be a gawd to some sort of shelled sea animal. I believe I have found my people.

They shall call me Aaaaaaaargh - the god of the high seas.

I dunno ... I'm thinking 30s Hollywood, Carole Lombard - I mean, look at that shell. Obviously bias-cut satin.

Having discovered the critter, I hope we now leave it alone. It vants to be A-LONE.

Yes, a classy fashion statement. Who knew that life 2,300 metres below sea level in a hydrothermal vent about 1,500 kilometres south of Easter Island was so stylish and retro? By the way, I disagree with the statement that Vegas would be a better venue for this outfit. No iridescence or sparkles. This guy would be better in the city where sin never sleeps.
