Amir's new favorite book is "Where is Gah-Ning" by Robert Munsch, and the main character, a little girl named Gah-Ning, is determined to get to Kapuskasing.

Unfortunately, reading it out loud to Amir is a bit of a drag, because I don't know whether Kapuskasing is pronounced

Kapus-CASE-ing or Ka-PUS-kah-sing.

Can anyone help me? I read this book to him every night, and I want to say it right.

I believe the original Cree (or is it Oji-Cree?) pronunciation is more like Ka-PUS-ka-sing. However, I've only ever actually heard it as KAP-us-KAS-ing.
