Just in case you haven't heard -- Voluntary Planning is holding consultations throughout the province on a new ten-year plan for Nova Scotia's natural resources. Check out the schedule here!

Find a meeting and get out and make your voice heard! It's a once-in-a-decade chance to have a say in where we go in forestry, mining, parks, and conserving biodiversity.

I hear there were between 300 and 400 people at tonight's meeting in Blockhouse. Industry is organizing hard to get out their representatives. Let's make sure all voices are heard.

And on a lighter note, for all of us who love Nova Scotia's forests ... a nifty short video from the Ecology Action Centre's Standing Tall: Forests for Life campaign.
