It sounds like a worthwhile enterprise. Ideally, of course, the seed bank should be "mirrored" elsewhere, to ensure that as many people as possible have access to it.

Looking closer, you're right, it "mirrors" stuff that's "hosted" elsewhere, but it sounds like it's more than just a mirror, they've made a sort of clearinghouse for stuff from several different sources.
Whatever the case, I hope others will follow Norway's example.
