Like the ghost of Hamlet's father, this thread is destined to wander the night, hopeless, seeking redemption and finding none. Woe is thee!

OK, Ill go with that. Besides, the ghost of Hamlet's father got satisfaction when the whole lot of them croaked at the end of the play. Kinda like opera, ya know?

Oops item: I made a bowl of ice cream last night. It fell off the counter and landed upside-down. Why does that always happen when things fall off the counter? Argg! This morning, I had the pleasure of looking at the melted ice cream in my sink. Yum.

Oops item: Last night I stepped on one of the cat dishes that I always leave out too long on the kitchen floor and I broke it.

Worse, I got kitty leftovers stuck to the bottom of my slipper. *ugh*

Well, there are always five dishes deployed in every part of the kitchen at their mealtimes. They're very finicky about not being too close to the next guy, so the floor briefly turns into an obstacle course. I have to train self to pick their dishes up sooner, though. I am so lazy.

Well if you don't become more diligent about picking them up, you may end up lying on the floor next to them. That could have ended up as een a really nasty tumble for you.

last night i was very hungry and it must've been messing with my head...

my brother was talking about how he called microsoft for tech support and said the first time he called, he got a guy with an indian accent, the second time, he got someone with a british accent. then he wondered why... so, being the "knowledgeable" big sister that i am, i though i'd answer. i said, "well, you do know that england (i meant to say india!) used to be a british colony." everyone at the table cracked up and i didn't get why... then they explained it to me and i turned beet red. oh, but it gets better! my brother started making fun of me, so i said "shut up or i'll introduce my butt to your foot! (obviously, i meant to say that i'd introduce my foot to his butt)" they were howling by that time, i figured i'd just quit while i was ahead.

now that's an oops moment!
