I voted strategically for the NDP because we knew who the frontrunners were. One of my friends voted for Keith Martin. Also strategic, I guess. Everyone knew that Penn was in a tough fight with Lunn. Everyone knows that Penn is an environmentalist supreme while Lunn is eager to please the mining lobby and the super tanker lobby. Vote for the environment.ca said early yesterday that penn needed 2000 votes to win. In such a case, I think greens and NDP voters who voted for a withdrawn candidate acted disgracefully. You gave the seat to Lunn. Lunn was the perfect guy to dispose of. A perfect message to send to the world. Stupidity prevailed and the antienvironment forces won.
