An homage to procrastinators everywhere. Consider some of history’s most despicable villains — you won’t find a single procrastinator among them. They were doers and go-getters, plotters and pillagers, highly motivated self-starters. Take George W. He’s running out of patience. He said he’s gonna attack Iraq and, by gum, he’s gonna do it.

Su-PERBE!

(Oh, gosh: does that sound a little too actively energetic to be safe and sane? Sorry.)

Aren't most psychopaths? Didn't we link to an interview with Kurt Vonnegut recently where he talked about how psychopaths were decisive because they just didn't care about what others think?

Here's an oldie but a goodie: "I may not be much, but I'm all I ever think about." (Source Unknown)

Hittler wasn't a procastaniter true but procastinators do no harm???

Well I geuss then the whole world is evil for trying to stop Hittler??? Infact that exactly what happened he only austria, he only wants, lets give him Poland and that will be the end of that. Yes procastinator do no harm let the tyrants run this world. Will see who's next hope it's not me.

The argument could go both ways in this case if we lay back and do nothing don't in get involved in bush's war so the at least the blood isn't on are hands and maybe he won't go to war.

If we lay back and do nothing maybe Saddam will be nice he won't hurt all those people will he???
And well at least we didn't do it. They'll be able to take care of themselves. He won't come after us. Will he???

Well in any case you can't solove problems by doing nothing about them. If there is onething thats bad for the world it's obliviousness. Troubles never go away if you leave them alone the only get worse. Sometimes it gets worse when you experiment and tamper but it won't get better if you don't try and make it.

two little adages. " take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves" and " all that is neccessary for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing."
perspective is everything, but civil disobedience based on collective apathy is a very amorphous quantity. all in good fun , as the article makes a case for serious endeavor on serious issues, but when all of us cigarette smoking activists are dragging oxygen bottles to the barricades, we're gonna wish we'd have taken care of some of those little things.
