Scientists Discover Memory Gene

Good news before the weekend. This is especially promising for people that suffer from Alzheimer’s, clinical depression, old (like me) age memory loss and the families of the sufferers.

The discovery is opening the doors to scientists who before knew very little about the memory functions of humans at the genetic level.

The Kibra gene is in a part of the brain which is highly critical for memory related funictions and gets affected severely by diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

More research is neded to be done but this is the first step into some new and exciting developments.
