I recently had a discussion with a friend in BC Adding to his impressions of his recent visit to Alberta, I supplied political and cultural anecdotes, quotes, and myths of the last century ala Alberta for his amusement.I am third generation Albertan and have taken an interest/revulsion in the populist lunatic politique of the place.I would argue there is no place more right wing/christian fundamentalist/gun totin/war makin/oil pumpin/just plain stupid crazy than Alberta... except Texas, where I have visited. As buddy heard the stories of buying(adopting) native youths and horrific incidents of industrial pollution, he began to counter that no place on earth is more bent and evil/capitalist/pedophlic than Alberta. I don't have the facts only a feeling. For those of you with perspective, which is the true pit of hell Alberta or Texas? I've been to both Bangladesh and El Salvador, while they're both evil regimes there are only 2 contenders of true perversity in my mind.Any thoughts?

Alberta doesn't have the death penalty so I guess I'd have to go with Texas.

These kinds of generalizations are counterproductive and probably against babble policy.
But since you asked, I'd say Texas cause they're George Bush crazy down there. Alberta is only Darcy Tucker crazy.
