Because Tom DeLay's new website, http://www.freedom.gov/, tells us so.

Well, if the goal was to kill over 10,000 Iraqi civilians and far more conscripts, create a hotbed of terrorism in a country that seemed to have nothing to do with terrorism before, kill hundreds of American and allied soldiers, destabilize the entire Middle East and turn most of the world against the U.S. while spending over 100,000,000,000 tax dollars and driving the most powerful nation on earth in the direction of bankruptcy, then, yeah, I guess it is "Mission Accomplished".

Hmmm...lots of American flags on that site, www.freedom.gov, but no Iraqi flags, even though it's supposed to be about Iraq and the Iraqi people.

Well, I guess the Iraqis don't even really need their own flag, so long as they've got freedom.
