for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Queer Immigrants and Refugees

at East York Civic Centre, 850 Coxwell Ave at Mortimer

This forum will provide a space for service providers to hear from experts and talk with community members about how to create services and build organizations which support LGBTQ immigrants and refugees.

The day's agenda includes working sessions, networking for partnership building and opportunities to create strategies and best practices models.

Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
ASL and language interpretation will be provided if requested.
Organizations are invited to send staff at all levels to learn and share.

among friends is a three year collaborative project between the 519 Church Street Community Centre, Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services and CultureLink which aims to improve access to services for LGBTQ refugees and immigrants in Toronto by providing training tools for capacity building and facilitating organizational change.
