Warmer air, even if it is still below freezing, can carry more moisture. That extra moisture falls as snow below 32 Fahrenheit.

If this is so, then it seems positive feedback loops will be slower to spiral out of control. Still, the long term mechanism at work is an overall warming of the planet, and this news is no reason to dismiss urgent action on climate change.

Ya, but it's totally unrelated to choking and poisoning the planet with the byproducts of middle class capitalism.
Anybody see that movie with Leonard DeCaprio, the one about the passenger ship and all the life boats they didn't have. We need a contingency plan.
