Walk4Justice is a group of Indigenous women and men that left Vancouver, BC on June 21, 2008 and is marching to Ottawa for September 15, to demand a response from Parliament Hill on the violence against Indigenous women. No More Silence is proud to welcome the walkers upon their arrival in Toronto on Friday, August 29. The group heads to Tyendinaga on Tuesday, September 2.

Welcome the Walkers on Friday, August 29th, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., First Nations House, 563 Spadina Ave.
Send the Walkers off to Tyendinaga on Tuesday, September 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Allan Gardens, Across from the Native Women's Resource Centre, 191 Gerrard.

The Walkers are requesting:
Financial support; Supplies: Food, Running Shoes, Clothes, Blankets, Camping Supplies etc.
Nurses or health-care workers for the Toronto stop-over

Donations can be forwarded to the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs, 500 - 342 Water Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B-1B6, CANADA
