I don't know if this is the right forum but I just wanted to wish all Jewish members of babble a shana tova u'metuka tikvateinu. To you and your families, only simchas for the year ahead.

It's a year of firsts for me. Last month I attended my first Bat Mitzvah, tonight I'm attending my first Rosh Hashanah dinner. These are both lasts for the Saint John Jewish community as they are moving from their current synagogue into a new smaller one at the end of October.

Shana Tova to all! Sad about the synagogue though - I imagine the members of the small Jewish community in Saint John (and their friends) will be able to celebrate Bar and Bat Mitzvas and holidays in a community hall or the parish hall of some other place of worship.
