It looks like it may be another year of drought for Western Canada this year. Last year Eastern Canada sent trainloads of hay relief for the livestock. Now with all the snow that the Maritimes are getting now, with nowhere to dump it, perhaps they could ship it to the reservoirs in the Prairies and West coast.

Yeah, you'd be doing all of us here in Victoria a big favour. I'm not looking forward to possibly not having the ability to shower because the folks in Oak Bay have to water their lawns come summertime.

Oak Bay has had water restrictions just like the rest of the CRD. That David McLean bears a lot of the responsibility on this one. I can't stand that guy. He and his golf buddies killed the sensible project to simply extend the pipe into the reservoir so that it'd reach into the deeper part of the res. Easy, cheap solution. Instead those guys want a multi-million dollar project. And if you ask me who would make the best mayor, it's School District Trustee John Young. He is a man of rare intelligence and integrity. Friedland would have been better than Lowe.

"Vote high, Aim Lowe"

I've got some good Alan Lowe stories.
